I heard that Chil Jong is a form that's 100 years old. If that's true, it would come from the time when Japan ruled Korea. Is it really that old, and do you know if it originated then or was taken from a form that pre-dated the Japanese invasion?

The philosophy of the Taegeuk forms, which Chil Jang is apart of are derived from the Chinese book the 'I-Ching' which dates back several thousand years, but the Taegeuk forms themselves have been in use since 1971.
